Starting in the summer semester of 2025, you will receive your Germany Semester Ticket (DST) as a digital ticket in the S-Bahn app.

After successfully re-enrolling for the summer semester of 2025 and transmitting your data to the S-Bahn, you will receive an email with an activation link. Log in to the S-Bahn app and then retrieve your current ticket.

Important: Your DST is issued monthly in the app. Therefore, you must retrieve it again each month. A new application is not necessary. The ticket is automatically updated in your user account before the 1st of every month.

Note: To use the S-Bahn app, you need a smartphone with Android 8 (or newer) or iOS 16.7 (or newer).
