The new Deutschland Semesterticket is only available online. All students who have paid the semester ticket fee can download the semester ticket online from 27 March 2024 via the transport company's ticket app.

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is issued exclusively in digital form as a wallet or web ticket. In the event of a ticket inspection, the Deutschlandsemesterticket must be shown on the smartphone and a valid, official photo ID must be carried.
