Put simply, all students on Bachelor's, Diploma and consecutive Master's degree programmes receive a Deutschlandsemesterticket (DST) and are even obliged to purchase one.

Under certain conditions, however, it is possible to be exempted from the obligation to purchase the DST.

The following are not eligible for a Deutschlandsemesterticket according to the current status:

- Guest listening students and secondary students (who is not enrolled as main listener at weißensee school of art berlin)

- Students on extra-occupational degree programmes

- Students who complete a degree programme with fewer than 15 credit points per semester

- Students who are enrolled on supplementary, additional or postgraduate degree programmes or are participating in continuing education programmes. This means that due the semesterticket contract we are unfortunately unable to offer the semester ticket to students on our Spatial Strategies and Art Therapy programms, Meisterschüler_in-students and our NaFöG scholarship holders.
